Jay Z @ Blender

Va spuneam in urma cu ceva vreme ca Jay-Z s-a razgandit, nu se mai ‘pensioneaza’, si ca revine in forta in muzica. De atunci, el a scos un nou album, “American Gangster” (pe 06 noiembrie), inspirat din filmul cu acelasi nume (un film absolut genial pe care vi-l recomand…), si doua videoclipuri: “Blue Magic” (pe 12 octombrie, e melodia de pe trailerul filmului “American Gangster“), si “Roc Boys” (06 noiembrie).

Ei bine, Jay-Z e acum pe coperta revistei “Blender“, numarul pe Decembrie… Puteti citi AICI un ditamai interviul cu el + editorial de prezentare (vedeti ca sunt super multe pagini).
Mie cel putin imi place headline-ul la nebunie: “Wealth! Fame! Beyonce! JAY Z - The Fly Life of an American Gangster” … si cu asta au spus tot, ha?

O parte interesanta din interviu, si gata, pe urma va las cu pozele:

Blender: So, is this your last album?

Jay-Z: I’m never gonna say that again. I was watching [the 2005 live DVD] Fade to Black the other day, and I was cringing. Because I kept saying, “When you’re making your last album … � [referring to The Black Album]. And I’m on my second album after that. I had to turn it off. It was too uncomfortable.

Blender: At the end of a song on American Gangster you yell out, “It’s just entertainment!� What do you mean by that?

Jay-Z: It’s my way of saying, “People, stop taking it so seriously — not everything rappers say is true to life.� It’s entertainment, too. If you can watch a movie and see Denzel as a character, you should be able to do the same when you’re listening to rappers. I know we’re always saying, “Keep it real.� But for the most part [he laughs] — it’s not true!
